The Indonesian HD commercial vehicle market has a great importance for Daimler Trucks; therefore Trucks Asia will launch an entire lineup of vehicles in the Indonesian market. Your job in this setup is to manage, homologate and market our products in the Indonesian market. Alignment between TA, TE and other relevant Daimler Business Units (e.g. Cars, Buses and Vans) including successful leadership of the Product Mgmt. & CV Homologation team.
Collection and analysis of market-specific product information (e.g. units in operation, competitor product portfolios, SoM)
Regularly monitor and analyze price competitiveness (via public domain, such as through mystery shopping exercises)
Integration of legal regulations and customer requirements (e.g. body-builders) as inputs for product development
Development of standard national transformation of vehicles process
Oversee the marketing activities (market research and media campaigns, digital marketing, retail marketing support, customer and public events)
Oversee all technical Customer Service topics (technical training, onsite technical support, workshop consulting)
Creation/Adaptation of product information content to local conditions / language
Provide technical consultation to Retail, Body Builders and Fleet customers regarding product issues, incl. on-site support together with bodybuilder management
University Degree in Sales and/or technical background, Master’s preferable
10 years or more experience in auto industry within Indonesia, and strong managerial experience.
Specific Knowledge and Skills :
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both oral and written.
- Strong communication skills. Convincing and firm personality. Homologation experience and managerial skills.
