Come and experience six decades of the Unimog. Launched after the end of World War II, the indestructible Unimog has endured to this day to become a living legend. The exhibition provides an insight into technology, the latest developments, and also the Murg Valley region – home of the Universal Motorized Working Machine, or Unimog as it is better known. Take a journey through time and discover what effect world history has had on the Unimog, what links the Unimog with Hollywood, and why the Unimog is even superior to an elephant.

About the museum

The Mercedes-Benz Unimog was manufactured in Gaggenau for a number of decades until its production was switched to Wörth in Rheinland-Pfalz. The region’s association with the Unimog has remained strong, however – so strong in fact that in 2006 a private initiative took the step of establishing the Unimog Museum.
