In nature the calm comes before a storm – on the road it's a sonorous sound: the sports engine of the SL 350 with 232 kW (315 hp) and 350 Newton metres of torque quickly delivers up to 7200 rpm. And thanks to improved combustion, with lower consumption and CO2 emissions.

The SL 500's eight-cylinder baritone demonstrates what it has to offer. 285 kW (388 hp) and a maximum torque of 530 Newton metres allow it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds.

Extremely cultivated – that's the SL 600. With a V12 engine, 380 kW (517 hp) and a maximum torque of 830 Newton metres. It takes 4.5 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h.

The new SL 280 with 170 kW (231 hp) and a torque of 300 Newton metres stands for lots of fun at the wheel with only 9.4 litres of consumption.

The 7G-TRONIC provides speed while shifting in the models SL 280, SL 350 and SL 500. If necessary it skips a few gears to impressively show its concentrated sprinting power. In the SL 600 a 5-speed automatic transmission provides optimum power delivery. Whichever SL you drive, you'll feel exactly what it has to offer as soon as you turn the key in the ignition.

The SL 63 AMG is dynamic and full of emotion, thanks to a large-volume AMG 8-cylinder engine with 386 kW (525 hp) and 630 Newton metres. Its innovative AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission combines the sportiness and spontaneity of a manual transmission with the comfort of an automatic transmission to provide you with a great deal of driving pleasure. The SL 65 AMG has a confident and powerful air with its AMG V12 biturbo engine, 450 kW (612 hp) and 1000 Newton metres of torque. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. Both models emphasise superior performance through visible exclusivity. Dynamic AMG bodystyling, an impressive AMG bonnet, the chromed twin-pipe exhaust of the AMG sports exhaust system and the AMG spoiler lip at the tail end distinguish the image of the super athlete.
