The LED light package gives the S-Class a distinctive look, emphasising its charismatic appeal with advanced LED technology.

The LED daytime driving lights with chrome surrounds, integrated on the left-hand and right-hand sides of the bumper, highlight the innovative design of the S-Class and increase perceptual safety, helping other road users see the saloon more rapidly.

In addition, there’s also a new tail light design which uses a total of 52 LEDs. It creates a distinct double-C light signature and makes for the S-Class’ eye-catching appearance at night.

LEDs offer unique advantages over regular light bulbs. They use less energy, last longer, and they can be activated much faster. Thus the brake lights can be spotted much sooner and the safety level of the occupants is further increased.

Adaptive Highbeam Assist is one of the major components of the LED Light Package. It allows you to drive more safely in the dark and provide better vision on the road ahead, and of any pedestrians and potential hazards. Not only does it change light intensity according to the driving situation, it also tilts the main beam seamlessly so as not to dazzle oncoming traffic. It even takes steering angle into consideration, so you’ll have a better view of the road ahead when you’re cornering.

The Intelligent Light System, integrated in the main headlamps, significantly enhances both safety and comfort. It automatically adjusts to different traffic situations, such as when cornering or driving on country roads or the motorway. In "country light" mode, the road surface is illuminated with a broader beam, while the motorway mode produces a significantly longer illumination range. The Intelligent Light system also features enhanced fog lamps as well as active light and cornering light functions.
