The optionally available COMAND APS control and display system not only guides you to your destination, it entertains you as you go. It features a DVD navigation system and a radio and CD player and allows simple control of the mobile phone and SMS function.

The Audio 50 APS radio is also equipped with a navigation system. Like COMAND APS, it works with the Global Positioning System (GPS) and a CD-ROM which features the European road network. An additional service offered in Germany and some other European countries is dynamic route guidance, which uses traffic information provided by radio stations to guide you around tailbacks where there is an alternative route.

Other available audio systems: Audio 5 CD with FM/AM tuner, monochrome display, speed-sensitive volume control and audio CD drive. Audio 20 also features a telephone keypad and can be combined with the Harman Kardon Logic 7® surround-sound system as an option.

The optional Harman Kardon® Logic 7® surround sound system brings superb sound quality to your B-Class. With 12 high-performance loudspeakers and the multi-channel stereo technology you have got your very own concert hall, wherever you are sitting. Added to which you have the sort of functions you won’t find at a live concert. For example, you can set the surround reproduction individually – either just in the front, middle or rear sections, or for the entire passenger compartment.

High-tech innovations like MOST, which improves the sound of poorer recordings, and the 11-channel DSP amplifier make the surround-sound system a genuine highlight and guarantee an incomparable in-vehicle acoustic experience.
